What is the Outreach Services Department (OSD)?

OSD helps the community access and learn about the following:

·        HLH and KCHC services and programs

·        QUEST/Medicaid for adults and children

·        Other Department of Human Services programs such as TANF,   food stamps,subsidized housing, HIHI, etc.

·        Any community resource or public benefit program

What else does OSD do?

·        OSD helps register new patients and informs them about HLH/KCHC services.

·        Under special circumstances, OSD assists clients/patients with transportation to their appointments.

·        OSD provides assistance and support to other HLH departments or projects.

·        OSD attends community events.
